Tilt trim leaking at the line into the ram

I have an 85 hp, 90 model Yamaha. The steel line going into the ram near the top of the housing leaks at the nut. I replaced the old line because it was bent so bad there was no way it would line up with the inside flare on the unit. Anyway, it appears that the flare may be damaged as no amount of tightening on the new line keeps it from leaking. Is there any fix for this? I've looked for 10mm inverted female to 10 mm male NPT, but can't find anything that size. I thought I had a fix with a product called Flaretite Seals, but they are for flared fittings.
