First - Thanks for all the great info on this board, it's an incredible asset.

Twin '88 150 Yamaha 2-stroke's. I left both motors in the full up position at the dock, did not engage the trailer lock. A few days later, returned to find the stbd motor approx 1/2 down. Was able to cycle both motors down, then back up, seem to work fine. Didn't see any leaks, or puddles around any fittings. Both tilt/trim units are original and rusty. Where should I look for the problem? Any chance it doesn't need to be replaced?
Thanks!

hello
if that is all it leaked down and its not leaking externally and your not having problems keeping it trimmed while your cruising along dont sweat it. if these are saltwater motors you may find that removal is a bit difficult and will require smoke.
good luck and keep posting
