Tilt/Trim motor

I have a 2001 Trophy with twin 150 mercurys and on the starbird side I replaced the tilt/trim motor twice in less than one year and now the motor went again what gives?

If it's not water intrusion, than you might see if the motor is binding. It will overheat and fail if it's pulling too much of a load.
