I have a 1995 Four Winns with a 5.0 OMC Cobra Outdrive.<br /><br />I have an intermittent problem. When I adjust the trim, up or down it kills the engine.<br /><br />Any ideas as to what could cause this problem.
Sounds like a short in the t/t, check the breakers on the front of the motor, chase the wires may have a bare spot on one of them. Welcome to the forum.
Thanks<br /><br />I thought the up and down trim functions where on two seperate circuits, and since it does it in both directions i thought I could rule out a short, but I will check.
