tilt trim problems (Yamaha I/O)

I have a 1991 commander 175 with the yamaha inboard L4 3.0 the problem is the tilt trim motor runs both ways as it should but i get no movement on the out drive I have tried to bleed the unit by lifting it all the way up and adding fluid to the max line putting cap back on and still am not getting anything. this pump has the resivour on top of the motor and the fill cap is on the very top. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS..........

Ayuh,... as yer probably figurin' out, Yamaha outdrive are a rarity,...
I don't work on 'em, but I'm guessin' the oil bottle yer talkin' about is for the drive oil...

Trim pumps have their tank, as a part of the pump assembly....
Find the Pump, 'n you'll find the tank yer lookin' for...

I recommend you get a copy of the Clymer manual, No B787, as it has a good section on T/T troubleshooting. Should be plenty on Fee-bay or Amazon
