hello, just wondering if anyone can offer me some advice. I own a bayliner boat and im having a problem with my tilt trim. 125 force will go all the way up but then drops very quickly. I had the pump replaced last year. tried raising and lowering several times but motor keeps dropping. any ideas would be appreciated. also there is no leakage anywhere.

Re: Tilt Trim Problems

... hiya jim,

well thats not good. what yr Force? if you replaced it just last year should be good as gold. did it hold ok then? did you replace it as new or some other used part off fee bay? i need to ask the obvious. did you fill it with 30 straight wt motor oil, i think about 1/2, 1/3 quart? little at a time work it in and cycle the o/b several times. these little motors are pesky and sensitive to work on. pop on over to the Force Chrysler Outboards section of the forum and read a few posts and seek some guidance from RRitt. a guru on this topic.

good luck
