tilt / trim pump - does it matter?

I need to replace my tilt / trim motor. So many Mercruiser tilt / trim motors to choose from - anywhere from $200 to $600.

If I have a basic Alpha drive, why so many tilt / trim motor options?

If it has to do with hydraulic pressures available to each one, is there data we can look at to see what ranges and what motors are equivalent?
