Tilt trim question

I have a 96' Mercury tracker pro series 40hp outboard my question is the ram is leaking fluid at the cap I've put new seals on but the kit didn't come with a seal for the cap,can these be changed also I've seen replacement caps with seals online very pricey. How do I find out what model tilt trim I have theirs nothing printed on it

Suggest looking up your engine on one of the parts lookup lists and find the factory part and if the price is so high it gives you a nose bleed then Google that part number and see what comes up.
