I have a Ranger 370v with a johnson 115 that has a switch in the bow console for the tilt. The wires are hooked to it but has been unhooked at the place they are suppose to be. I need to know where they are suppose to hook up at.

Perhaps Ranger can get that schematic to u..or just hook it up to switch, worst u could do is have it backwards, up sends motor down...I'd perform direct connect to trim motor in stern first..jump wire from battery to solenoids, green usually equal down, blue wire up..green-grass, blue-sky..

The one on the controls work, i need the wire on the bow. The wires are there and have been cut off. I was thinking they may go to the same switch on the controls.

The first time I ever heard blue to the sky green to the grass was today, now I read it hear tonight, weird. Buddy rigged a 3 way switch from car headlights to make an engine tilt switch for the side his outboard.

The trim wires for at the engine, at the control handle, and at the bow are/should all be in parallel and yes on the blue sky (TT up) and green grass TT down. Power should be Red since it's not switched with the key where it would be Red with a purple stripe or purple. The center contact on your switch will be power in and then it's one or the other output terminals for up down. Wire it up and if it's backwards, swap the outside wires.

Thanks guys. I had it hooked up and figured out the red wire was comeing from the othe battery so it had no common ground. Fixed that problem wired it up and it works like a charm
