Does the trim just click BOTH directions?
The two wire trim motor reverses polarity to the motor wires to reverse motor direction. It uses two relays that reverse both the + and - connections.
Both relays have a heavy black wire joined to a common ground, if this ground fails the motor will not run at all.
The first step to troubleshoot is to disconnect BOTH the Blue and green wires to the motor and attach your test light, hit the trim switch and see if the light shows, try it BOTH directions. If the light works then your problem is in the motor.
