I removed the trim limit unit to do some maintenance. I put it back after cleaning and now the drive will not trim up at all. I ran a wire from + battery to the blue wire at the pump, nothing. Green wire works to trim down. Also on the wires at the trim limit is badly corroded, almost snapping off.Could that cause the motor to not engage when jumped at the blue wire? What is defective here?

Yes, correct. At the bus bar green, I can trim down manually with wire at +, but nothing happens at blue wire, unit does not trim up.

Ok, after replacing the solenoid, still no luck. No trimming up. I fixed the trim limit sender. don't know what else could it be...maybe the sitch at the control box..? but everything was working fine before I took out the limit sender..

Does the trailer button still raise the drive?

Yes, the trailer switch brought it all the way up...I am thinking i replaced the solenoid for no reason..its the switch isn't it?

Ayuh,.... Sounds like the Trim Limit Switch,....

By-pass it inside the transom, 'n try it,...

Re: Tilt / Trim will not trim up.

How do I by-pass?

Ayuh,.... Where the wires come through the transom, 'n tie into the trim harness,...

probably a couple of barrel style connectors, maybe spades,...

Could you be more specific as to what i have to do to the wires?

disconnect the limit switch bullet connectors and jumper the wires coming from the harness, if the "trim up" button works, then the issue is a faulty/misadjusted trim limit switch
