It may be the bearings (upper, lower or both) in the electric motor. I'm not sure of the motor on your particular engine, but some units have a rubber plug on the top and bottom which can be removed to oil it with a drop or two of machine oil.....Than again, some don't , and have to be literally dissmantled to get at them.
