Guys, I had read somewhere else on here that any 3 cylinder tilt/trim assembly would work for my chrysler skier 700. I have a lead on a tilt/trim unit from a yamaha pro50. Would this indeed work for my outboard?

No.
The bolt holes and mounting hardware is way off.
You need a Chrysler /Force T/T made before 1992.
That should fit.
But before you buy post pics of the unit and pics of your transom mounts.

Thanks for the quick reply jerry. I kind of suspected it wouldn't work, but figured I'd ask before pulling the trigger. This is one awesome group. Sure am glad I found this forum.

There's the link ti view the pictures I was able to take, hopefully this gives you what you need. Also would I need the whole assembly? I know obviously I need the t/t cylinders, the pump, lines and motor, but do I also need the bracket the outboard attaches to, or do I reuse the existing bracket?

The Yam stuff won't fit.
The brackets you have will work on any Force Chrysler T/T you buy.

That was my fear, the price was what caught my eye, and its local. I done some investigation whilst I was waiting for a response, and have answered my own question about the mounting bracket.
