To anyone who can answer the question--
After I sign in, how long may I stay signed-in before I am automatically logged-out?

My computer never logs me out. I am using Firefox. May be a function of the browser though.

It's the same for me... I use firefox also and if you aren't, I strongly advice you to give it a try.

Most of the ime I use IE8. I will try Firefox.

Even using IE8 you should be able to set it to remember passwords and keep you logged in.

Default with vBulletin is 15 minutes.

FOREVER !

I use IE8 and I can stay permanently logged in. Just click the remember me button. As mentioned be sure iboats is entered on your saved cookie list.

I hate to tell you guys, but you don't stay permanently logged in. Every time you leave you are getting logged out and when you come back your computer automatically logs you back in.

If you hit the remember me box ...... you will always have access when you use the same computer and same internet browser. If you are logged on at home you will not be able to see that from another location (i.e. work)

This forum will keep you logged on (even if you do not click remember me)until you close the browser.

If you are clicking the "remember me" box and are still getting logged out.
You might be clearing your cookies/IE cache upon closing the browser.

I never get logged out with Safari.

Almost always have at least one window open to iboats.

Why would you ever close your browser window, or shut it down?

If that window should happen to get closed by accident, I click on a bookmark that was made after the login page, and I am in.
