Look for a 1978 or newer for best parts support.

Plenty of parts available for models older than '78,with the added advantage of much simpler electrics.A good one from 69 on with a little work and routine maintenance will last you another 20 years.

Is that little two cylinder going to be up to the task of pushing that Tbird? You sure you want to half the power? How about a nice 3 cylinder 70, or something?
