Timeing the j reeves way

1 how do i ajust timeing with the timerbase wired to the stop
i must be missing something for sure

2 my motor 1988 j 225 has a spark dwell handle this is how you
ajust the timeing right???

3 what do you do with the rest of the spark plugs wires??

4 what do the orange wires do on the stator do?

there is a set of yellow wires and a pair of orange wires on the stator
can they go anyway there is no tracers on the yellow or orange wires


5 anybody know what is the real timeing for this motor?

The orange wires are from the stator power coil that makes power for the power pack logic. The pack logic works Quick Start.
Yellow to yellow, orange to orange.
