Timing 1992 johnson 40 hp

I need a measurement between the links in mm if possible Please. Could be 40hp or 50hp with this style timing link. Thanks

My memory says 60 mm. I had a similar question a few years back( did not post anything) and I found it somewhere here in this forum.

Thanks, The roller for the timing cam was missing. I'm not sure if the motor was timed with the roller missing at some point as it was 2 degrees retarded with a new roller installed. 60mm from ball end to ball end was still a little retarded. I had about 5mm between the links. My service manual says 2 full turns of the link end is about 1 degree. I turned the link 3.5 turns or about 1.75 degrees more. I still need a calm day to test @ wot on the water.

Timing great about 19-20 degrees
