Timing 89 Suzuki Dt 55

Can the timing be adjusted on a 89 DT55 Suzi? I find no referance in my (clymer) manual (just ordered the Suzi manual). Or is this motor only automaticly timed w/ the computer and the throttle position sensor? Engine was recently rebuilt, runs fine but lacks top end rpm. Compression is about 125psi on all 3 cylinders. Could the carbs also be too rich?

Timing is set via the sensor on the port side of #2(?) carb, which automatically advances and retards the timing in the IC via the throttle position. Check your throttle linkage for W-O-T position before ripping stuff apart--

Thx, I'll double check WOT adjustments. Then re-check voltage from the TPS. I am also running double the 2stroke/oil per brake in procedure, although I don't think this would greatly affect the high end rpm. I'll also check/replace the plugs for possible fouling.
