The timing on my 1999 yamaha 115 is suppose to be 25 btc. It is 30+ degrees. I would assume I make the adjustment using the linkage under the fly wheel that connects to the upper part of the throttle arm.? Is this correct.

Re: Timing adjustment

I thought they had a stop screw by the upper carb on the starboard side of the motor for the max adv. But here I am thinking again.

corm

Re: Timing adjustment

Use the max stop screw Tleazenby. That way you wont change the idle pickup point.

corm
