Timing Light Question

So I'm getting my outboard ready for the season (trying at least). I thought of buying a timing light to ensure it's timed correctly. It is 20 years old. Will a standard inductive timing light suffice or do I need to shell out the money for a "Marine" light? Any feedback is appreciated...

Any regular automotive timing light is sufficient.
