Timing on 115 hp merc

Can someone please tell me at what rpm you need to be at to set the timing on a 115 hp mercury outboard, seriel number 7003976 what does WOT mean.

You do not have to run the engine to set the timing on your engine.<br /><br />D/C the throttle cable. <br /><br />While someone turns the engine over, have your timing light ready. Pull the throttle ahead by hand at the engine...and set your max timing.<br /><br />Yes...its that easy.<br /><br />TMD
