Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my max timing after installing a new stator and trigger (cdi). I'm on the final step of the sinc and linc but the trigger stops at about 20* and wont go any further. I've got 11/16" on the link rod from the center of the bent rod to the adjustment barrel, not the nut. Any ideas?

Well I fixed the max timing problem. The big end of a zip tie (on the wires coming out of the trigger) was limiting travel of the trigger. Just one more problem: I can't get the idle to come down, the adjustment goes out but the arm won't come back. thanks.

The trigger plate must be free to rotate.

Trigger wiring must NOT be tied down to the motor or other wiring TOO TIGHTLY so as to limit free rotation of the trigger plate.

Re check those zip ties.
