My thread started out here in the resto forum but I had it moved over to the Starcraft owners forum a while back. I just wanted to thank all the guys who posted up and helped me along the way in my 13 month restoration journey.

Here's a link to the finished Chief with pics and a video. Post linking isn't working right so here's a link to page 64.

Skip - Look at Watermann's resto link and see what he started with. I don't know what he gave for her, but he got a lot of dud motor & out drive parts and a passel of wasps. Before and after transformation is nothing short of phenomenal!

Had been popping into your SC thread off and on the last few weeks and watching your amazing marathon finishing on this boat...
To say you have done a SPECTACULAR and STUPENDOUS restoration on this Chieftain is a total understatement!
What a beautiful looking craft you have whipped up!
Major Kudos, H2O Man!
May you and yours enjoy the heck out of it for many, many seasons to come!
Happy Days, Calm Waters and Godspeed!

Thanks for checking her out and the praise guys!

I couldn't be happier how the Chief turned out. I took her by the guys place that I bought her from for $600. It was neat, he couldn't stop looking at her and said that it was everything and more that he dreamed of doing when he picked the boat up.
