Tiny outboard reccomendations

I'm thinking about buying a bity little 2hp Johnson Mate OB from someone local here. Has anyone out there had these before? Are they dependable? I guess my primary concern is that I want something to use on a small inflatable at the beach and I worry about the salt water. These little things are air cooled right??

they are good little motors. keep it washed down after use. i have one i use in the FL Keys, every year.

don't those motors still pump some water up on to the exhaust tube to keep it cool?

Don't know what year the mate is but the 89 2 hp is water cooled.
That's the newest info I have.
