Hi everyone

I put a Tiny Tach on My 1988 force 125. I would like to know how many times the Spark Plug fires per revolution? I have it set to read 1 spark per rev, I just got back from the Lake and the Tach said the Motor was turning over 7100 rpm's at 35 mph checked by GPS. I know thats not right. If Someone can help that's Great.:)

Thanks

As far as I know, two strokes fire/spark every revolution. Set the tiny tach accordingly.

Thats what I thought, Thanks for confirming this. I'll check to see if the lead might be touching Two Plug Wires.

I reset the Tach setting. The instructions with the Tach were backwards, They said position #1 was 2 sparks per rev,#2 was 1 spark per rev, When in fact position 1 is 1 spark and position 2 is 2sparks per rev.

Thanks Again
