tinytach will it work on a evin 6cyl

1983evinrude 6cyl 150 do they make a model of tiny tach that works on this motor i want to use to check my tach.

From the research I have done, and the answers I have found on here, it will work on most any gasoline internal combustion engine, as it gets its readings off the plug wires. Obviously though, it won't work on a diesel.

they have a good reputation, but if you want a permanent installation, go with another one.
