I'll tell everyone my little story, i'd like to know what you think. So, I just put 2 BRAND new carlisle trailer tires on my trailer that cost me about 100$ each. I told them i wanted the strongest tire i could get. The tires i had on the trailer weren't bad i just didn't know exactly how old they were and wanted to try to save myself some trouble on the side of the road possibly and peace of mind.
Anyway was headed to the lake mem. day weekend feel a little vibration, look back, and one of the trailer tires is smoking, and flat. Got it changed went on my way. i couldn't find a nail so i was thinking it was a blowout.
Next day i went to some different small tire shop to have one of my old tires re mounted so i would have a spare to head back home with. after they got one of the old tires mounted, he found a problem with the valve stem leaking, which is why my new tire went flat in the first place.
So long story short, it wasn't the tires' fault, it was a valve stem leaking, BUT shouldn't the tire place have changed the valve stems when they mounted my new tires? i thought that was kind of standard practice? anyway, the place i bought my tires says that their supplier won't cover anything on trailer tires, so i've got a 100$ brand new tire thats trash. What does everyone think about that? i'm pretty mad they didn't change my valve stems and now i'm out a hundred
