....nope, I don't mean Santa Claus. I mean, yes....that fabulous time of year...the International World Junior Hockey Tournament and Big Red is...of course the Canadian World Junior team.
For all you Northern U.S folks, particulary those from upper New York, it is being held in Buffalo this year.
For those 'not in the know' about this tournament, this is the last chance to largely see the very next batch of pre-pro talent before it hits the NHL. Many of these kids are already signed and some have logged ice in the NHL.
As a few know, the U.S won the tournament last year ending the 5 year reign of Team Canada. So this year, we are gunning to recoup that title.
Anyhow, for you hockey nuts....tune in to it. It is very fast, high class hockey with the next best players on the planet...playing for all the marbles.
