TLDI. Beeping every 10 min

I just bolted up my motor to the transom today and ran the trim up and down. I did not start the motor or even put the key in but every few min. it would beep I think three times. Is this ok? What does that mean? I have to unhook the battery to shut it up while working on the boat.

You need to have the TPS reset...I would take it into a dealer and have them put the engine into diagnostic mode and troubleshoot it.

The motor have not had any power to it or been started in over two months as I have been replacing the propshaft.

How can I clear this issue? dealer is over an hour away.

Tac was also not hooked up yet (dont know if that would cause any prob.)

You need to reset the TPS to clear that sensor. Instructions can be found in the service manual or you can contact your dealer and they might tell you how to do it.
