Ok I'm new to the TnT world looking through the manual I see a referance to a "trailer" switch ok if I understand the manual this is the only way to raise the motor out of the water and the TnT switch on the throdle won't raise the motor all the way up is the true and if so what do I need to add this switch?

Re: TnT simple question

You use the trailer switch to raise the motor from the rear of the boat so you don't have to go around to the front. Your t&t switch on the throttle will raise your motor all the way up, the 2nd switch is just a conveinence.

I think what they're refering to is a tilt & trim switch on the engine that is accseeable from outside the boat. It should tilt and trim just like the switch inside the boat.

c/6

Hooty

Ok looking at the manual agian it appears this "trailer" switch bypass the trim limit switch to allow the motor to raise the motor all the way up so back to the orignal ?????

Re: TnT simple question

My motors raise all the way up with either the switch on the throttles or the switch on the motor cowling. A point, I have twin Evinrude 175hp, Ocean Pros...ther is a flip down bracket for towing and another, less heafty, for at the dock or whatever. Check it out, it may save you a accessory towing bracket.
