last week a very good friend and i decided it would be really neat to take our remote controlled airplanes to the lake
with the boat
we spent the evening riggin up flots on our rc planes so we could fly and land them on water
when we got to the ramp we had quite a crowd around the boat eyeing up all our toys
we launched with no problems as usuall and headed out to some vacant water in the large lake
my frind was the first to try his out
he took off the water ok and flew around the lake for some time then landed and its my turn now
he decides it would be really neat to drive the boat at 55 while im flying my plane
as im crossing over the bow and the back seats of the boat at 55he decides to cut the throttle on the boat sending the plane into the back of his head
lucky for me i was sitting in the bow of the boat behind the glass so i didnt recieve any of the shrapnell
now if you know anything about rc aircraft these little gas powered motors turn a 12 inch prop at about 9000 rpm
the prop was the first thing to make contact with his head and well lets just say he got quite a hair cut, lots of cuts and scrapes, and a really bad headache
when we made our way back to the ramp with his head bleeding we again had quite a crowd of people lookign at our toys
and alot of explaining to do
with no hard feeligns we were at it again this weekend with no accidents
and what a ton of fun it is
