well thanks to the 70 and sunny weather we had here this weekend, I took my boat out, started right up and ran great. However I was having a little problem with trailer sway. The vehicle is a 1988 grand wagoneer, which whiegh in at 4500 lbs, good tires all balanced. class III tow hitch. the boat 1991 17.5' vhull single axel trailer.. whieghs in at about 2500lbs..

my question is should I move more of the boat towards the tounge or aft?

Howdy, BNT.

Don't move the boat if it is correctly located on the trailer, with the transom on the last keel roller or at the ends of the bunks. Move the suspension/axle assembly back.

You should have 7 to 10% of the trailer weight on the tongue. That would be about 200-250lb.

Moving to Trailers.

Good luck. :)
