Need to install a toggle switch on my tilt and trim there are 3 wires 1-blue , 1-red , 1-green does it matter were each wire is placed on the switch its for a 1983 115hp johnson<br />Thanks
You need a 3 terminal toggle, preferably self centering.<br />Red wire- power- to the center terminal.<br />Blue wire, tilt up.<br />Green wire, tilt down.
