If Tohatsu where to produce this new tldi from the 140hp engine do you think that if you own a 140 that you would be able to have yours converted or do it with a kit if they don't alter the block.

In theory, IF Tohatsu were to build that motor, you COULD buy all the bits for a conversion. BUT, I would never recommend that, due to costs for parts. For example, you could build any TLDI if you already owned the block; for that matter, you could even buy a new block. But the cost in parts alone would be much more than the cost of a new motor.

Just like you could build a whole car from parts. But that experiment was once done on paper, and the cost was something like 10x the cost of the complete car.
