I acquired this engine last year after it had been left over winter outside with fuel in it. This winter I stripped the carb as it would not idle and cleaned it out but the problem persists.
It will start easily with choke and runs at high revs with no choke but stalls when I drop the revs off. I assume its weak mixture as if I half cover the air filter it initially speeds up but then will run at low revs. Is their any way to adjust the mixture on these engines?
Any help would be much appreciated.
