Hi again everyone,
The Air Silencer on my 96 9.9 2stroke, looks like a plastic duct, is it supposed to have anything inside (foam, insulation or something)
Just wondering if it could be more effective.
Just the head exhaust pipe placed inside the air silencer. If having excesive noise, check drive shaft housing lower bolts for tightness and upper gasket drive housung for good seal condition. Check pipe lower bolts for tightness and gasket for seal condition.
