Does any one know any tricks to get parts for this engine.
I can't find much on line. also how hot should the pee stream / block feel to the touch?
Thanks

What parts do you need? Many are still available from the factory.

The pee stream should not be very warm. Depending on the sea temperature, it may be nearly cold to lukewarm. If it's steaming, you are overheating, possibly because of a failing impeller.

this outboard was made 1976-1984, no parts are available anymore
cheapest option to get parts is buying another non-starting/non-complete engine
most parts are shared with:
b18d (almost identical),
and very similar:
8hp: m8a (b13b)
12hp: m12a (b18c)
