Tohatsu M90a LU-Is sealant necc?

Hey Folks:
Here's my question. I'm new to outboards and I just replaced my water pump impeller. Should I have used a gasket sealant or silicone when replacing my lower unit? There was no gasket present and this is the first time it's been off.

Nope. No gasket or sealer between the LU and the exhaust housing. You should be fine.
