tohatsu/mercury 20 4 stroke props

Guys, I'm wondering if the Tohatsu props will work with 2009 Mercury 4 stroke motors? I notice that Tohatsu has several prop sizes that aren't offered by Mercury for the same size/year motor.

thanks, looks like I'll be getting my spare from Tohatsu.

I do have a couple follow up questions if you don't mind.

The props listed for Mercury and Tohatsu are similar, but not identical diameter/pitch (two are identical). Is this just how each company chooses to list them or are theses actually different size props?

The prop I'm running now is the 9.25X10 Mercury. I tried out the 9.25X8, which was too small. I might try the Tohatsu 9.25X9 for trolling w/heavier loads, but I see that they also list a 9.2X9.8. Is that the same as the prop I have now?!!? The price is right.

Could be the same, might be different. Same lower units...Mercury makes its own props and buy some from Tohatsu. Tohatsu makes its own props and buys some from Mercury. You never know what you are going to get until you look at the individual prop, that comes in a given shipment, at a certain point in the year. IE There is a lot of slop in propeller vending.
