Tohatsu TLDI MD40B2 - TLDI MD50B2 UPRATING ?

Hello
can someone tell me what is needed to uprate a 2010 Tohatsu TLDI MD40B2 to a TLDI MD50B2 UPRATING ?
in other words, how do i uprate a 40hp to a 50 on this model engine.
I cannot find any mechanical differences as in cc etc between the two, is it just a simple matter of bigger jets
or is it something else ?

any help will be usefull, as ive been offered a very very good clean 40hp but realy need that little bit extra
of a 50hp.

Phil,
It woud be possible, but not cost effective.
Mechanically, the 50 uses a different (larger) throttle body and associated bits.
You would also need a different ECU, which has a retail price of $1653.00
