tolrble res. in ohms for my spk. plg. wires. for alpha 1 '89?

i have an '89 merc inline 4 cyl, 3 litre, alpha 1, 140 hp engine and cannot find the proper specs for the resistance of my spark plug wires in my seloc manual. please help me to know if i need to replace. i do not see any cracks or damages but i have only owned this boat for 1 year. thank you.

I was looking in the merc manual and couldn't find a resistance value there either. However I agree with the others above, chances are good that they are the originals, so just replace them.

I've always done the ohm thing, just like a Compression Test......

Not so much the Actual #,........ Just a nice close Range of #s...........
