You must be in good shape or the boat is not balance well on the trailer. Figure 2400 pounds boat wet, 600 pounds trailer, 200 pounds gear = 3200 pounds. Trailer should be rated for 3500, tongue weight should be 10%= 320 pounds.
If you can pick that up you are way too much tongue light. <br /><br />An accident waiting to happen the trailer is going to whip on you. The above post has it right.<br /><br />Better to be tongue heavy than light.
