Tonhatsu 9.8 + Stingray Hydrofoil XPI Jr?

Is this doable? I should have done more research, but the I have the engine...I have the Hydrofoil, problem is the mounting. Can anyone suggest a mounting method or Homedepot cure (rigged parts)? There is about a 1mm per side spacing outside the "drill area" for mounting. Im hoping if someone knew a better/easier way.

I wouldn't go through the trouble of making anything to get it to fit. Foils on small fixed trim outboards can be problematic on small boats where the varring loads (mainly people) cause major balance differences. They can also cause some unexpected handling problems. I ran a stingray jr on a 40C and removed it after the 1st season. If you really need that type of handling adjustment, look at smart tabs. A search will find more info than you need.
