Hi guys i found out something intersting that i never paid attention to did you know rock auto does marine parts.
Well im in need of carberatour cause im tired of adjusting this one with very little results. im looking at this rebuilt carb from rock auto its 114.00 compared to a 377 dollar rebuilt one on here. can any one tell me if this is a good deal here is the product info page. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=2427214

It must be a marine carb or it will not work to well and could cause a fire/explosion. Marine engines run in a different power band then automobile engines and the carbs are both set up different as well as internally vented for safety. You could take yours to a local carb shop and have it rebuilt.

well it says it is i looked it up specificaly under a 1973 mecruiser 140 and that was the result
