I see them for sale on Ebay occasionally BUT before possibly bidding and probably paying too much (to outbid others), does anyone here know of any sources elsewhere where these tools can still be purchased new and reasonably?
I have a few old Mercs that need their gear cases re-sealed so I need a couple of tools to do that.

hello
if your unit uses the 4 prong spanner to remove the prop shaft bearing carrier I have a homemade one. I restored a 1958 mk 45 some years back for a guy with way to much money. I had to have most the tools built as most are nla. if I can find the carrier tool maybe DPHmarine would like it as a loaner deal. anyway good luck and keep posting

Grubs oldermercs.com doesn't sell those tools but that's where I got the seal kits.
I managed to get a few tools from a guy on Ebay (no not cheaply but....) SO hopefully I'll be able to re-seal my 2 Mark 25s soon.
