Yes I have.....mine is made by Attwood (same idea) If used on fiberglass boat use a little PB Blaster with it and take your time. Problem I had was cover had satinless snaps, boat had aluminum snaps.....disimilar metal issue. However with some times and some PB Blaster you can work it out!

Sorry another note.....PB Blaster can stain non waxed fiberglass and may make an oil stain on your cover.....WD 40 less issues but does not work as well? Trade off is yours! Good luck!

They work great, but the metal angle (for prying) that rests on the hull can cause marks. If you get one, cover all metal, except the hooked portion, with duct tape or use a rag under it.

Best bet is to lube the snaps up with Chapstick so they clip in & out like they should.

Just another tip for easy snaps, threaded seams or leaking canvas: Go to an archery shop and get some bow string wax. Looks like a huge stick of chapstick. Works great for sealing canvas in the rain, zippers and anything else you can think of. I keep a couple of tubes laying around in the camping and fishing gear.

Thanks all. I'll wax the snaps first and go from there.
