top speed on a 15 aluminum pushed by 5hp 4 stroke???

i have a 5 hp. thinking about getting a 15' aluminum v bottom trying to figure out how fast i can go on flat water, i'm thinking 10mph. anyone know w/ two people? thanks in advance.

I don't think you will plane,so guessing around 5-6mph.

I have a 6 hp with a weedless prop I tried on my 14' v-hull; about 6mph, didn't seem close to getting up on plane. Still, if you only need to go a mile or two from the dock it'll work.

yep 5-6 mph... maybe, just maybe 7 or 8 with a sailboat prop

HHMmmm -- fast as a slow swimmer? Almost stop? Still that combo will get you where few others can go -- at least without a paddle!
