Had the opportunity to host the youngest daughters high school cheer squad this weekend. This photo was taken by another dad from my dock. This is not a dirty old man shot, just a quick photo to show one of the joys of boating. We tubed for hours, we ridded the earth of about 400 pounds of hydrocarbons and generally had a great time. This also shows the benefits of owning a jumbo bow rider, Chaparral 280 SSi, twin 5.0l's through alpha's.

That will be a photo to show your friends when you reach the retirement home!! Hauling that many people (young ladies) proves to be an effective use of fuel!

What is the max capacity for your boat? I think I count 18. I have a 23' BR and it feels crowded with 4 adults and 4 kids. I feel like a traffic cop ( everyone over here, OK now move back over there). I can't imagine getting 17 teenage girls to stop talking long enough to give any instructions.

Yes the boat moves pretty good, I've got 19" props on for tubing (twin 5.0 l's, MPI).

I carry 30 PFD's on the boat in addition to the 8 tubing skiing ones. 18 adults, 8 medium and 4 infant (the result of owning several boats at various times).

The boat has a hull length of 28', OAL just under 30'. Beam is 9'4". The boat is Yatch Certified and at this length it is up to the captain to make sure the boat is not overloaded (at least I think so). This was too many people in the boat from a comfort perspective and in some conditions maybe saftey also. I only rode like this for few minutes, first thing in the morning when the lake was empty and flat for some photo ops and to tease a dock load of boys near by. After that, I reduced the riders to 8 or 10 for the actual tubing adventure).
