Re: Toronto International Boat Show
I considered it, but its too expensive just to wander around looking at boats. For my wife and myself to go would have cost us $13 for parking, $36 to get in the door, $12 for transit, $10 in gas to get to the subway and return home and $25 for snacks and drinks. If we were to actually have a meal, that would be another $40 or so. Add to that, it would take 1 1/2 hrs to get there and another 1 1/2 hrs to get home. The roughly $100 or better I saved will be put to better use. Those shows cater to the larger high ticket boats that I'm not interested in.
