105 foot pounds. The specs are usually near the front of the book(s) listing the torque specifications for all of the bolts etc.

Thanks Joe.

For some reason, the manual I have does not list this torque spec anywhere.

Tips on how to lock in the flywheel so that it will not turn as I torque the nut up?

Tool that auto mechanics use to turn the flywheel when installing a pressure plate on a manual shift auto, usually called a spanner wrench.

Id hate to admit it but Ive used a large flat head in the past wedged between the starter teeth and the flywheel teeth. Made sure it was making complete contacts on a wide area of both teeth to ensure I didn't bend , break or damage any teeth.

Yes I know very red neck / shade tree. But got it done with no marks or damage.

A strap wrench can also be used with a firm grip and provided it's big enough to fit, chances are you won't find one, however your local auto parts store probably rents the flywheel wrench/spanner wrench Joe referred to for about $5

I use a leather strap clamped with a visegrips works like a strap wrench.
